Nellie E. Risinger

Nellie Ellen (Bost) Risinger, 74, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.

The daughter of George W. and Margaret (Erb) Bost, she was born July 30, 1943 in Cokeville, PA.

Mrs. Risinger graduated from Blairsville High School in 1961.

She formerly attended the Strangford United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the Senior Center, shopping, traveling and cooking.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Thomas E. Risinger, whom she married April 24, 1963; two daughters, Jill K. Risinger (fiancé, Ken C. Lassick, II) of Blairsville and Amy E. Risinger (friend, Dave McAfoos) of Blairsville; two brothers, John Bost of Ashtabula, Ohio and George Bost (Diane) of Blairsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Cory A. Braatz officiating.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
