Julie A. Jones

Julie Ann (Baird) Jones, 42, of Bradenville, PA passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.
The daughter of Roger L. Baird, Sr. and Michele L. (Blattenberger) Cummings, she was born May 13, 1975 in Indiana, PA.
Julie graduated from Derry Area High School in 1994 and worked in healthcare.
She loved her dog, Pugs, helping others, playing bingo and card games, and stock car racing. She was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed having her nails done.
Surviving are her mother, Michele Cummings of Black Lick; her father, Roger Baird, Sr. of Punxsutawney; stepfather, James Kowchuck of Derry; three children, two sons, Adam Jones of Derry and Andrew Jones of Seward and a daughter, Alyssa Jones of Gray Station and a brother, Roger L. (Charly) Baird, Jr., of Anchorage, Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Betty Blattenberger.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 P.M. Monday the time of the funeral service at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA with Roger L. Baird, Jr. officiating.
