John Wesley Oliver, Jr., 55, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at his home.
The son of John W. Oliver, Sr. and Sandra D. (Smith) Oliver, he was born September 12, 1961 in Latrobe, PA.
John formerly worked for Blairsville Floor Covering.
He loved his dog, Miss Wiggles and to fish in the river.
Surviving are his mother, Sandra D. Oliver of Blairsville; a sister, Bambi Joanne (Homer) Libengood of Blairsville; an aunt, Kathryn E. Smith of Homer City and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James F. Smith and Alverda D. Perrine; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Irene Oliver and maternal step-grandfather, Glenn B. Perrine.
A private visitation and a private funeral service will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.
