Sarah J. "Sally" Howard

Sarah J. “Sally” (Guiher) Howard, 91, of Blairsville, Pa passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her home.

Sally was born May 16, 1924 and was raised by Murray and Laura (Guiher) Spencer.

She was co-owner, with her husband, H.T., of Howard’s Mobile Home Sales for 25 years and she also worked as a registered nurse at Lee Hospital, Johnstown and Torrance State Hospital.

Surviving are two sons, H. Tracy Howard III, of Blairsville and Mark A. Howard (Sherry) of Blairsville; a granddaughter, Nicole Fritz (Jim) of Blairsville and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H.T. Howard in 1984.

The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Thomas C. Spiker officiating.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.
