Richard Lee Pittman, 60, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana, PA.A son of Kenneth W. Pittman, Sr. and Blanche (Hinton) Pittman, he was born January 25, 1951 in Indiana, PA.Mr. Pittman lived most of his life in Blairsville and worked for Pittman Plumbing and Heating, Blairsville.He is survived by a son, Richard Pittman of Saltsburg; a brother, Kenneth Pittman and wife, Mildred of Blairsville and a half-brother, Keith Pittman of Homer City.He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Larry Pittman.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Beverly J. Banyay officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
