Mary Lou (Johnston) Miller, 65, of Blairsville, PA, formerly of Lakeland, FL passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Marie Miller, Blairsville.A daughter of Harry J. and Eva R. (Ickes) Johnston, she was born May 2, 1945 in Indiana, PA.Mrs. Miller was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Lakeland, FL and was attending church at the Christian & Missionary Alliance, Church, Blairsville.She worked in the office at Lockheed Martin Corporation, Lakeland, FL for 11 years.She enjoyed singing.Surviving are her mother, Eva R. Johnston of Lakeland, FL; a son, Robert W. Miller, Jr. and his wife, Marie of Blairsville; two daughters, Kimberly E. El Kheir of Mulberry, FL and Rebecca L. Elliott of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Hannah Miller, Marissa Marquez, Rachel Awadallah, Gabriella Awadallah, Brianna Elliott and Presten Elliott; two brothers, Ronald J. Johnston and his wife, Ruth of Murrells Inlet, SC and Harry Kenneth Johnston and his wife, Diane of Coudersport; two sisters, Connie Faye Johnston of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Ruth E. Johnston of Sebring, FL.She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Robert W. Miller, Sr. and two brothers, Robert G. Johnston and Fred Rowland Johnston.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, with Rev. John McMannus officiating. Interment will be private.
