Alice Jean Henry

Alice Jean (Hullenbaugh) Henry, 85, of Homer City, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Kenneth and Grace L. (Munshower) Hullenbaugh, she was born Dec. 4, 1939, in Indiana.

Alice enjoyed keeping the home fires burning for her family. She was a member of the First Church of God in Indiana. Years ago, Alice was a part time Certified Nursing Assistant at the old County Home (now Rose Haven) and also a girl scout leader.

She is survived by four children: William C. Henry and wife Marsha, of Homer City; Donald Henry and wife Teia, of Homer City; Sandi Shamberger and husband Todd, of Homer City; and Denise Gryczuk, of Indiana and significant other Michael Dalbor; a sister, Dorothy Rush, of Indiana; grandchildren: Sarah Johnson, Jessica Stairs, Nathan Henry, Carol Henry, Melanie Smith, Rick Henry, Michael Henry, Courtney Haley, Brianne Livengood, Aireanna Dixon, Ronald T. Little, Aaron Little, Sonya Shamberger and Hunter Shamberger; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Henry; two brothers, William Hullenbaugh and Kenneth Hullenbaugh, Jr.; three sisters: Patricia Kikel, Nancy Smith and Betty Tedford; and a beloved grandson, TJ Shamberger.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2025 and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 with Pastor Matt Lantz officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
