Barry M. Blattenberger

Barry Michael Blattenberger, 46, of Blairsville, PA, (Burrell Twp.) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Indiana Skilled Nursing Inc., Indiana, PA.

The son of Barry L. and Michele L. (Piper) Blattenberger, he was born on December 2, 1978, in Latrobe, PA.

He graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1997. Barry loved playing golf and softball, and he loved gardening. One of his favorite activities was playing basketball with his daughter. He is remembered for being incredibly creative and for his ability to take something basic and turn it into something beautiful and memorable. Barry had a special skill for carving pumpkins. More than anything, though, he loved being around his family and spending quality time with them.

He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Toni (Allison) Blattenberger, whom he married on August 7, 2014; his father, Barry L. Blattenberger of Black Lick; his children, Abigail Cramer (Cole) of Indiana, and Kaidence Blattenberger of Blairsville; his stepdaughter, Emily Blattenberger of Blairsville; his grandchildren, Jaxson Liller, Octavia Cramer and Jackstyn Cramer; and many friends.

Barry is preceded in death by his mother, Michele L. Blattenberger, on January 5, 2024.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville with Pastor Robert Kephart officiating.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery.
