Bernard V. Dilts

Bernard V. Dilts, 90, of Indiana, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at St. Andrew’s Village.

A son of Gwendolyn Dilts Bencic and Vaughn C. Ramage, he was born July 22, 1934, in Indiana.

Bernard enjoyed boxing, wrestling and loved to draw. He was a hard worker and was always busy.

He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Hagerman and husband Barry of Clymer; a son, Bernard Eugene Dilts and wife Tracy, of Dayton; grandchildren: Brandon Troup, of Clymer; Deven Troup, of Clymer; Christopher Logan Dilts, of Dayton; Nichole Beere and Sean Mintzer; two stepdaughters, Sharon Clawson and husband David, of Clymer; and Linda Moody and husband Ben, of Sarasota, Fla.; two step grandchildren, David Clawson and wife Alexis, of Heilwood; and Taylor Buday and husband Andy, of Johnstown; one great step granddaughter; step sisters; Priscilla Lambing, Janet Haggerty, Vonette Haggerty and Terri Starr.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024, with Pastor Jack Lucas officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
