Betty Lou Libengood

Betty Lou Libengood, 89, of Blairsville passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana, PA.

The daughter of Lester and Sadie (Critchfield) Libengood, she was born December 13, 1934, in Strangford, Burrell Township, Indiana County. 

Betty graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1952.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and sewing.

Surviving are two sisters, Beula “Bea” Rinaldi of Blairsville and Goldie Haraseviat of Pittsburgh; her sister-in-law, Helen Libengood of Blairsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald, Donald and Wilbur Libengood, and her sisters, Mildred Ehman, Viola Kelly, and Freida Libengood.

Per Betty’s wishes, there is no visitation.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery.
