Blair Alvin Nelson, Jr. , 87, of Indiana, passed away on Friday August 14, 2026 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving wife, Anna M. Nelson.
Born in Brush Valley, on August 27, 1938, Blair was the son of the late Blair Alvin Nelson, Sr. and Dorothy (Berkybile) Nelson.
Blair was a hardworking man who spent many years working as a factory worker. He also proudly served his country as a member of the Florida National Guard for eight years.
Blair enjoyed many things throughout his life. He had a particular passion for old Ford automobiles, especially the classic 1932 Fords. He was also an avid collector and enjoyed collecting many different things over the years. His collections were a reflection of his many interests and the memories he made along the way.
Those who knew Blair will remember him as a kind and friendly man who made many lasting friendships. He had a special place in his heart for his family and was especially devoted to his parents, always making sure they were cared for and supported.
Blair will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Anna; his family; and his many friends who were blessed to know him.
He leaves behind many cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th St., Indiana have been entrusted with the arrangements.
