Christine Annette Whitfield, 59, of Blairsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at home.
The daughter of Arthur L. Whitfield and Margaret A. (Hill) Whitfield, Christine was born on July 7, 1966, in Indiana, PA.
Christine graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1984. She previously worked for Sears in Indiana for 20 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Shawntay Whitfield of Claymont, DE; father, Arthur L. Whitfield of Blairsville, and siblings, David Whitfield of St. Louis, MO, and Kenneth Whitfield (Lynda) of Graniteville, SC.
Christine is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Whitfield; and brother, Arthur L. Whitfield III.
Per the family’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc. at 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA 15717 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Inurnment will take place in Blairsville Cemetery.
