Clark Anderson Bruner, Sr., 78, of Blairsville, PA (Black Lick Twp.) passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Meyersdale Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Meyersdale, PA.
The son of Ralph R. and Beatrice V. (Wolfe) Bruner, he was born August 14, 1941 in Black Lick Twp., PA.
He lived his entire life in Black Lick Twp. and graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1959.
Mr. Bruner was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and worked 33 years at Latrobe Steel, retiring in 1999.
He was a leader of the 4H Gordon Club for 20 years, he served as a Black Lick Twp. Supervisor and liked to collect Oliver tractors.
Surviving are a son, Clark A. Bruner Jr. (Connie) of Blairsville and a daughter, Coleen M. Bruner of Blairsville; three grandchildren, Abigail F. Bruner, Elizabeth H. Bruner and John C. Bruner, a sister, Virginia Zona of Clarksburg and a brother, Thomas Bruner (Marilyn) of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gladys M. (Jackson) Bruner on January 22, 2006, two brothers, James Bruner and Kenneth Bruner and two sisters, Martha Bruner and Roberta Kwisnek.
As per Mr. Bruner’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday in Luther Chapel Cemetery, Coral, PA with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.
Military services will be accorded by Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and American Legion Post #0407.
Memorial donations may be made to the Indiana County 4H Endowment Fund, 827 Water St., Indiana, PA 15701 or to the United Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA 15717
