Deloris Mae Resides

Deloris Mae (McAdams) Resides, 83, of Greensburg (Unity Township), PA passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, at her home with her family.

The daughter of Samuel J. and Margaret Evabelle (Swazy) McAdams, she was born on December 11, 1942, in Palmerton, PA, Indiana county.

Deloris graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1958. She worked for LaMantia Produce, Blairsville Sewing Factory, and retired from BonTon after more than twenty years.

Deloris was the heartbeat of her family. She loved picnics, traveling and camping. She laughed easy, gave abundant grace, and loved deeply.

She married Gerald F. Resides on May 21, 1964, and together they shared 47 years of happiness before his passing on January 28, 2011.

Deloris is survived by her children, Molly Resides Gross of Greensburg and Jerry Resides (Mary) of Blairsville; grandchildren, Tyler M Gross (Chelsea) of Latrobe, Colton Gross of Greensburg, James Wymer of Greensburg, Katlynn Loughlin (Brian) of Pittsburgh, Ian Resides (Meranda) of Monroeville, and Jerry Resides III of Blairsville; great grandchildren, Landen, Addie, Norah, and Ellis; brother, Samuel “Rusty” McAdams (Janice) of Black Lick; and sister, Helen Olechoveski Hill of Blairsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald F. Resides; parents; sisters, Patricia Henry and Janice Myers; and brother, Robert McAdams.

Per her wishes, there will be no memorial service.
