Dolly Ann (Link) Stock, 86, of Irwin, PA, formerly of Blairsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Born on February 25, 1940, in Moscreek, PA, Cambria County, Dolly was the beloved daughter of Oscar B. and Helen (Weakland) Link.
Dolly graduated from Hastings Elder High School, Class of 1958, and was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church in Blairsville, where she shared her caring spirit through Angels of Compassion.
A devoted homemaker, Dolly’s greatest joy was caring for her children and grandchildren and creating a home where they were loved and supported. She especially loved cooking for them, bringing her family together around the table and showing her love through the meals and baked goods she prepared. She will be remembered for her gentle kindness and the quiet ways she made her family feel cherished.
Dolly found joy in simple pleasures, including playing solitaire, visiting casinos, trying her luck with scratch-off tickets, watching game shows on television, and spending time watching and feeding the birds.
She is lovingly survived by her three children, Steven G. Bloom (Cathleen Golden) of Indiana, Christopher A. Bloom (Melissa) of Armagh, and Cynthia H. Gwynn (Tim) of Irwin; six grandchildren, Jessica, Brent, Alaina, Brett, Kaylyn, and Darby; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Orville Link of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Nancy Anna of St. Boniface and Constance Mahon of Long Island, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Norman Stock; four brothers, Russell Link, Patrick Link, Bill Link, and Arthur Link; and two sisters, Kathleen Mikitko and Elaine Basista.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 10 AM until 1 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 14th at SS Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church.
Interment will be held later in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville.
