Dorothy E. Washington

Dorothy E. (Carr) Washington, 92, of Blairsville, PA, passed into eternal life on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Country Living Personal Care Facility, Blairsville, PA.

Born July 11, 1926, in Westmoreland County, PA, she was the daughter of Noah and Nora (Cruse) Carr.

Mrs. Washington was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church, Blairsville.

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was the beloved wife of the late George Washington who passed away on December 29, 2000.

Preceded in death by parents, brothers, William, Robert, Othello, sisters: Thelma, Mildred, Nina, and Juanita.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Second Baptist Church, 241 E. Campbell St., Blairsville, PA, 15717, 9 A.M. until service at 11 A.M. with Rev. Ronnie C. Morris, officiating.

Interment will follow in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
