Eleonora Waltraüt Damas

Eleonora Waltraüt Damas, 77, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at her home.

The daughter of George Damas Sr. and Maria (Teshka) Damas, she was born on February 23, 1948, in Bremerhaven, Germany.

During her life, she worked as a security guard in the entertainment industry.

Eleonora enjoyed reading, watching television, and playing video games. She loved her dog, Freya. She was a huge Elvis fan, and she even got to meet him and see him in concert three times.

Surviving is her daughter, Trudy M. Damas of Las Vegas, NV; brother George Damas Jr. (Rosemary) of Blairsville; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Per the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
