Georgianna L. Blackburn

Georgianna L. (Nader) Blackburn, 75, of Irwin, PA passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Ligonier, PA.

The daughter of Samuel and Helen (Kissell) Nader, she was born on July 16, 1947 in Greensburg, PA.

Georgianna graduated from Norwin High School, Class of 1965.

She attended the United Presbyterian Church in Blairsville where she had served as Deacon.

Georgianna enjoyed crafting especially crocheting and loved being around children.

Surviving are two sons, Brian L. Blackburn of Largo, FL, and Matthew Blackburn (Kelli) of NC; three grandchildren, Dakota, Justis and Sierra; three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Bryson and My’leigh Blackburn; two sisters, Barbara Kocsis of Blairsville, and Deborah Smith (Greg) of Blairsville and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Samuel Blackburn and two sisters, Michelle Beckinger and Antoinnette Beal.

Per Georgianna’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
