James R. Battestilli

James “Jim” R. Battestilli, 72, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, at Scenery Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

The son of Guy and Louise (Blystone) Battestilli, he was born in Indiana on May 27, 1951.

Jim attended St. Bernard School and was a high school graduate. He attended St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. Jim enjoyed sports and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He was an avid animal lover. Jim played in a musical band and loved KISS and The Beatles.

He is survived by his special friends, Shannon Luksich and Alex Kerestesy.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family will be received at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. with a St. Bernard of Clairvaux Friary as celebrant.
