James J. Miller

James Joseph Miller, 69, of Blairsville, PA (Brush Valley Twp.) passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, in Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana.

The son of Clarence J. and Letty (Shirley) Miller, he was born on February 28, 1956, in Johnstown, PA.

Prior to his retirement, he worked as a coal truck driver.

James loved his truck.

Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Joanne M. (Smay) Miller whom he married on June 21, 1997; his mother, Letty Miller; two sons, James J. Miller (Leighanne) of Indiana, and Michael Miller (Jenny) of Johnstown; four grandchildren, Emily, Katlynne, Kasey, and Karsyn; four siblings, Thomas Miller (Mary) of Blairsville, Cindy Postgate (Ed) of Homer City, Kim Miller (Lenny Novella) of Blairsville, and Jake Miller (Renee) of Blairsville; and numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his father, his brother, Chuck Miller and two nephews, Tommy Miller and Jason Miller.

Per James’ wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
