Jeffrey P. Fairman

Jeffrey Paul Fairman, 73, of Home, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, with his family by his side.

A son of Blaine D. and Sara J. (Lewis) Fairman, he was born Jan. 30, 1952, in Indiana.

Jeff was a 1970 graduate of Marion Center High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He had worked in the coal industry as a heavy equipment operator. Jeff always helped everyone, loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. But he loved being on the farm.

He is survived by two daughters: Shawna Fairman, of Home; and Sheila Fairman and fiancé Gregg Gibson, of Homer City; a sister, Judith Caldwell, of Bemus Point, NY; and a grandson, Austin Fairman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Jeff’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
