Jessica Rose Kerr

Jessica Rose (Foreman) Kerr, 42, of Indiana, PA (formerly of Black Lick, PA) passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family in Indiana, PA.

The daughter of Thomas Foreman Sr. and Cindy (Burtyk) Foreman, she was born on June 29, 1982, in Latrobe, PA.

Jessica was a graduate of Blairsville High School, Class of 2000.

She was a member of former Black Lick Free Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Black Lick Volunteer Fire Department.

Jessica was a homemaker and a beloved stay-at-home mom.

In her spare time, she loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and tending to her garden. She grew red roses, but she also loved yellow roses. Jessica loved going to country music concerts. Every year, she would take a special trip to Gettysburg with her husband to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Her favorite thing to do was to spend quality time with her children, dogs and cats.

Surviving is her loving husband of 12 years, David Kerr, whom she married on May 18, 2013; her two children, Regan A. Kerr and Liam J. Kerr of Indiana; her parents, Thomas Foreman Sr. and Cindy Foreman of Black Lick; her brother, Thomas Foreman Jr. (Brandy) of Pittsburgh; three nieces; and her West Virginia Burtyk family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brennan in 2014; paternal grandparents Clair and Laura Foreman; and maternal grandparents Charles Burtyk and Sara Marsh.

A visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Shoemaker Funeral Home 49 N Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM with Pastor Fred Craig officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
