Kimberly Ann (Carey) Welc, 74, of Ligonier, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 25, 1951, in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ray V. and Dorothy (Cope) Carey.

Kimberly found joy in the simple pleasures of life and especially loved being surrounded by nature. She enjoyed gardening, attending garage sales and collecting antiques, gathering fabrics for quilting, and crocheting. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Welc (Megan Gravener) of Blairsville; two grandchildren, Sophia and Casstiel; and her sister, Judy Adams (Michael) of Ligonier.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Kimberly’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Interment will be in the Penn Forest Natural Burial Park, Verona, PA.
