Laura Mae Bumbera

Laura Mae (Frankhauser) Bumbera, 60, of Central City, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at her son’s home.

The daughter of Anthony Frankhauser, Jr. and Marie R. (Byers) Frankhauser, she was born April 19, 1963, in Indiana.

Laura was a homemaker. She loved playing with her dogs, being outdoors, coloring and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her mother, Marie Frankhauser; three children, Edwin R. Black and husband Charles D.; Ruth M. (Fink) Ferguson and David J.P. Fink; three siblings, Josephine Frankhauser, Patricia Clark and Anthony P. Frankhauser III; her brother-in-law, Andy Clark; 9 grandchildren, her dogs, Coco and Moose and her rabbit, Snowball.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Bumbera on Jan. 21, 2024, and her father, Anthony Frankhauser, Jr.

Visitation is private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
