Louis "Lou" T. Guella

Louis “Lou” T. Guella, 86, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, at his home.

A son of the late Ricco and Dolores (Arduini) Guella, he was born Aug. 16, 1937, in McIntyre.

Lou retired from Penelec, where he was a mechanic at the Conemaugh Generating Station. He was a member of One Hope Church. Lou loved the local sports. He was a kind and generous man, a good friend, a great husband and an awesome dad.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bernice (George) Guella; his son, Scott L. Guella; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Liboski and Sheila George.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Geno Guella; and his sister, Clara Funk.

In keeping with Lou’s wishes, viewing and services are private. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
