Marcella M. Taylor

Marcella Marie (Hewitt) Taylor, 87, of Latrobe, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at her home.

The daughter of James Edward and Georgianna L. (Smith) Hewitt, she was born on September 9, 1936 in Tunnelton, PA.

Marcella graduated from Saltsburg High School, Class of 1954.

Marcella loved her family and friends.  She was known for always going above and beyond to help others.

Surviving is her son, Charles L. Taylor, Jr. of Greensburg.

She was preceeded in death by per parents, her husband, Charles Lee Taylor, Sr. in 1991, three brothers, Albert Hewitt, James Hewitt, Jr., and John Hewitt, and five sisters, Lucy Taylor, Barbara Williams, Mary Hewitt, Dora Lawrence, and Pearl Hager.

Per Marcella’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.

Shoemaker Funeral Home Inc., Blairsville is entrusted with arrangements.
