Marion Lee (Flenniken) Mester, 80, of Clarksburg (Young Twp.), PA, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.

The daughter of Hamilton and Bertha (Anthony) Flenniken, she was born on February 24, 1945, in Indiana, PA.

Marion graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1963.

She was a member of The United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville and the Homer City American Legion Post #493 Auxiliary.

Prior to her retirement, she worked at the former Shop-n-Save, Indiana VFW Post # 1989 Golf Course, Robertshaw Controls, all of Indiana and retired from the Ideal Market in Homer City.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John K. Mester, whom she married on June 5, 1971; and her sister, Elaine Harris (Sam) of Blairsville.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Marion’s wishes, there will be no visitation.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11 AM at The United Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Walnut St., Blairsville with Pastor John Manon officiating.

Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
