Marissa B. Konrad

Marissa Belle Konrad, 27, of West View, PA passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, in UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh, PA.

The daughter of Ryan Konrad and Julie A. (Cobes) and Richard Lewis, she was born July 28, 1997, in Pittsburgh, PA.

Marissa is a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School, Class of 2016 and a graduate of CCAC with an associate’s degree in Art.

She attended Faith Global Methodist Church, Delmont.

Marissa loved drawing and oil painting, anything Disney, listening to Taylor Swift, and cuddling with her cats, but her best friends were the center of her universe.

Surviving is her father, Ryan Konrad of West View; her mother, Julie Lewis (Richard) of New Alexandria; her sister, Brittany Stefancic (Matthew) of Creighton; her brother, Matthew Lewis of New Alexandria; maternal grandparents, John Cobes, Jr. and Eileen Cobes of Lower Burrell; paternal step-grandmother, Anna Lewis of Delmont; three uncles, John Cobes, III (Eve) of Tucson, AZ, William Lewis (Melissa) of Export, and David Fannerella of Henderson, NV; three aunts, Lori Larkin (Edward) of Cape Coral, FL, Barbara Daugherty of Slickville, and Debbie Russo (Frank) of Henderson, NV; her nephew, Bradley Hooks; her niece, Hailey Stefancic; numerous cousins; her best friends, Annana and Daisy; and her cats, Spencer Jack and Sweet Pea.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard & Margaret “Peggy” Huff.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th at 11 AM at Faith Global Methodist Church, 305 Freeport St., Delmont with Rev. Dr. Ronald W. Raptosh officiating.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.

The family would like to thank the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh staff for all the care given to Marissa over the years, and to Dr. Tevar and his staff at UPMC Montefiore for their care and compassion.
