Martha E. Henderson

Martha E. Henderson, 89, of Ravenna, OH, formerly of Creekside, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at Vista Veranda in Ravenna, OH.

A daughter of the late Lee Roy and Clara (Peterman) Henderson, Martha was born June 10, 1935, in Washington Twp., Indiana Co.

Martha was a graduate of Marion Center High School and a member of the Elderton United Methodist Church. She retired from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was a custodian. Martha enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, quilting and crocheting afghans.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by four siblings: Milo E. Henderson, Berton L. Henderson, Donald M. Henderson and GlennaJean Thom.

Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Drew Gordon officiating. Interment will be in South Bend Cemetery.
