Mary Ann Boiano

Mary Ann Boiano, (71), formerly of Tarentum, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana Pa, following a brief illness.

She was born July 18, 1954, in Natrona Heights, the daughter of Anthony J. and Agnes I. (Tomer) Boiano, who preceded her in death. Mary Ann was a graduate of the Sunrise School. Mary Ann was very independent and was a dedicated worker. As an adult, she most enjoyed her years at NorthCo and took great pride in her vocation. Mary Ann was also a 50-year member of the F.O.E Auxiliary #699. She was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins and rarely missed a game.

Mary Ann is survived by her brothers and sisters: Anthony (Connie) Boiano of Indiana, Pa; James Boiano of Carnegie; twin sister, Margaret Boiano of League City, TX, and Rose (Mark) Errico of Freeport. In addition, she is survived by nephews and their families, Michael (Sarah) Boiano and Mark (Liane) Errico; and nieces and their families, Antonette (Kerry) Jones, Nicole Boiano (Ron Molinaro), Angela (Aaron) Fetty, and Nadine (Greg) Butler. Mary Ann also leaves behind her favorite “Fur Nephew”, Milo whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by a niece, Christine Boiano Baczynski in 2019; and a sister-in-law, Cynthia Resta-Boiano in 2021.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th St., Indiana. In keeping with Mary Ann’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later time at the convenience of the family.
