Paul E. Rekitt

Paul Eric Rekitt, 79, of Erie, PA formerly of Blairsville, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Walnut Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Erie, PA. 

The son of Alfred and Anna A. (Trojanovich) Rekitt, he was born on October 26, 1945, in Erie, PA. 

Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Janet E. (Zerfoss) Rekitt, whom he married on May 19, 1977; three daughters, Paula A. Bryan of Erie, Paulette M. Greene (Stacey) of Erie, and Pamela A. Anderson (Tom) of Erie; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five sisters, Shirley A. Crisswell of Erie, Dorothy Walsh of Erie, Theresa Wisor (Gary) of Erie, Audrey Cavicchio (Arthur) of Erie, and Martha Haas (Michael) of Union City; four brothers, George E. Rekitt (Judy) of Erie, Emmett C. Rekitt (Becky) of Jacksonville, FL, Edward Rekitt (Cheryl) of Erie, and Franklin D. Rekitt (Peggy) of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Rene Sackett, three brothers, Alfred, Norman, and Steven, and a sister-in-law, Sandy. 

Per Paul’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. 

Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.
