Richard A. Gribble

Richard Alan Gribble, 69, of Penn Run, passed away Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at the Embassy Hillsdale Park, in Hillsdale.

A son of Willam B. and Jane (Greg) Gribble, he was born Dec. 30, 1953, in Johnstown.

Richard loved trains and going to Disney World in Florida, sometimes twice a year.

He is survived by his friend and caregiver, Barbara Lute and husband Lloyd, of Penn Run; and their children, Amber Detwiler and her children; and Jeremy “Red’ Detwiler and wife Kristin and their children; his cousins, Jeff and Tami Pike, Dave and Kathy Pike, Mark and Trish Pike and Doug and Donna Pike.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no visitation or services. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, Indiana.
