Ronald L. Stiffler

Ronald L. Stiffler, 80, passed away on Tuesday July 7, 2026 at the VA Hospital, HJ Heinz Campus, Pittsburgh.

Born on February 22, 1946 in Blairsville, Ron was the son of the late Allen and Wyla (Dick) Stiffler. Ronald was a proud member of the US Army. After returning home from his military service in Vietnam, Mr. Stiffler was a truck driver for many years. Ron was a life-long member of Laurel Swamp Union Church in Clymer. He will be best remembered as a hard worker and for how much he loved his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his four children, Laura Bomerscheim of Steubenville, OH, Cali Thompson and husband, Wade of Rockville IN, Ryan Stiffler and wife Erin of Clarksville, TN, Benjamin Stiffler and wife, Ki of Ypsilanti, MI; a brother Leonard Stiffler and wife, Becky of Clarksburg; two nieces, Whitney and Taylor; and 14 grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Emilie.

Friends and family will be received on Friday July 17, 2026 at Robinson-Lytle- Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7 th St., Indiana, from 10 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 with Pastor Caleb Fugate officiating. Interment will be in Laurel Swamp Union Cemetery, Clymer.
