Sara Agnes (Galbreath) Ferguson, 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.
The daughter of James and Agnes (VanDyke) Galbreath, she was born July 8, 1945 in Slate Lick, Allegheny Co., PA.
Sara graduated from Freeport High School and Indiana Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked as a registered nurse at Scenery Hill, Indiana, and Indiana Regional Medical Center.
She loved to read.
She is survived by a daughter, Heather Ramely of Indiana; two grandchildren, Bradley and Alexia; two sisters, Josephine and Judy and a sister-in-law, Patricia Pierce, Blairsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Galbreath and a sister-in-law, Mary.
As per Sara’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
