Steven W. Harbaugh

Steven Wayne “Elvis” Harbaugh, 69, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, at his home.

The son of Jack B. and Ruby (Leatherwood) Harbaugh, he was born on November 25, 1954, in Bunkie, LA (Avoyelles County).

Steven was a graduate of Blairsville High School and a veteran of the US Army.

He was a member of the Blairsville American Legion #0407.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Mary E. (Atchison) Harbaugh, whom he married on May 30, 1971; a son, Wyatt K. Harbaugh of Fort Leavenworth, KS; three grandchildren; two stepchildren, Jeremy Atchison of Red Lion and Valorey Auen Platt (Tyler) of New Alexandria; a brother, Jack “Butch” Harbaugh (Vickie) of Blairsville; a sister, Linda Carnahan of Blairsville; a brother-in-law, Joe Kuzemczak of Blairsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Kuzemczak and a brother-in-law, Harry “Smokey” Carnahan, Sr..

Per Steven’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
