Susan K. Friedrich

Susan Kaye (Watkins) Friedrich, 78, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Greene Health and Rehab Center, Greensburg, PA after a long illness.

The second child to Wiley and Margaret (Espey) Watkins, she was born on May 13, 1946, in Duquesne Heights, Pittsburgh PA. 

Susan worked as an administrative assistant for many years before retiring to help raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children; Alisa True (Mike), Eric Friedrich (Christine), and her youngest Brandie Lee Friedrich; four grandchildren, Eric, Jr., Sami, Heather, and Sara; four great grandchildren, Ariana, Cohen, Dallas, and Novalyn; many nieces and nephews; and her special friends who helped take care of her.

Per Susan’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
